House: “Private Lives” Review. We meet a patient who blogs about everything in her life. Well, almost everything. There are times when I’m watching House that I’m reminded of the old Late Night with Conan O’Brien bit, “Secrets”, where super-famous movie stars sat in an interrogation room and admitted terrible and hilarious facts about themselves. Every time I watch Hugh Laurie solve another medical mystery in spite of his patient not telling him the entire truth, I want him to turn to the camera and whisper, “Secrets Plus, we got a chance to see the normally stoic Dr. Chase broaden his range in one of the funniest montages in recent history as he, House and Wilson all tried their hand at speed dating. The results were exactly as you’d expect.

The Moatsiders picked up three valuable points against Horsham and the boss turned to a novel idea to help the cause. The Moatsiders boss saw his men clamber out of the Isthmian League Premier Division relegation zone with a surprise win against high-flying Horsham — and put part of the success down to the introduction of a new training-night bonding session. It was good fun and can have a benefit. We played really well, it was lovely to get a performance.

We had Luke Ige on loan from Colchester who was absolutely superb at right-back. We text regularly.

After a month-long hiatus for House and a Cuddy-centric episode , the Princeton-Plainsboro team returns this week to shed light on another mysterious case. I waited in anticipation to see what they’d cook up after time off, but dare I say, I’m somewhat let down. Not that the night didn’t have storyline gems, but the patient plot of an over-sharing blogger Laura Prepon feels like the show is trying too hard to tap into the 21st century.

See how millennial we are? OK, to cut the writers some slack, I do love the battle between Wilson and House, and there is one particularly interesting reveal. It almost seems like we’re getting hints about where the characters are headed in coming episodes. Ready to go over some of the night’s important questions? Let’s get down to it when you read more. So tell me, are you glad House is back, or were you like me and hoping for a juicier patient case?

Do you want to see an episode with House’s father as much as I do?

Look, I know we all don’t want to admit this, but I think this whole Internet fad may be in it for the long haul. Oh sure, it looks like just another flash in the pan, with all these “message boards” and “blogs” and “websights,” just a lot of of pointless typing floating off into the electronic ether, but something in all that babble seems to have struck a nerve. Somehow, all this ephemera has been built to last, despite all our attempts to mock it with bad puns and condescension.

It’s been happening, it’s going to keep on happening, no matter how much it scares us. The possibility of consistent excellence keeps me coming back, even when that possibility is so often disappointed. Thankfully, the blogger plot was mostly just set-up. Instead, the concept introduces the episode’s major theme: the face that we hide away forever, the face that we keep in a jar by the door, and the gap between the two.

Nothing shocking, drama-wise, but it made for some entertaining vignettes.
